‘Will not tolerate anti-party activities’

Hyderabad: TRS is a truly disciplined party and anyone who crosses the line will be sacked from the party, party president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said on Tuesday. He also made it clear that those who adhere to party guidelines in letter and spirit will be appreciated and treated as true workers.

Replying to a question at a press conference in Telangana Bhavan, the Chief Minister said: “We will kick out persons indulging in anti-party activities,” he asserted, stating that no one will be spared if they do so.

Chandrashekhar Rao also asserted that there would be no change in the list of 105 party candidates announced earlier. “Don’t go by rumors that 30 per cent of the candidates will be changed. It is not correct. There won’t be even 3 per cent change in the list,” he said, and urged the media not to write speculative reports.

“I stood by what I said earlier that all sitting MLAs will be given tickets and the same was done but you (media) wrote speculative reports that 30 per cent sitting MLAs will not get tickets,” he said.
