The Indian national cricket team’s captain, Virat Kohli, is trending on Twitter not just for his performance on the field, but also because of his ‘Too Yumm!’ chips endorsement.
The 29-year-old is known to be a fitness freak and seeing him eating chips in the new advertisement confused his fans. On May 19, the international cricketer posted an open letter on Twitter which reflected that he is aware of what his fans are confused about and is ready to answer all their questions.
Silencing the fans’ doubts, Virat shared a two-minute clip with a caption saying, “I have been listening to my fans and here’s what I want to say. What you see me bingeing on are @TooYumm Multigrain Chips. Sirf taste nahin, 7 grains ka power hai ismein. And, the best part? They’re BAKED, not fried (sic).”
Though there are talks about how this could be just another marketing strategy, there’s no denying that it has been trending, while teasing our curiosity. At the same time, there are people who are still not completely convinced about how healthy it is?
