Warangal CP responds to twitter post, provides aid to family


Warangal Urban: Responding to a twitter post by a young woman, who said her family was suffering due to lack of essential commodities, Warangal  Commissioner of Police V Ravinder asked policemen to hand over rice, vegetables and other essential commodities to  the family.

One Immadi Neelima, a resident of Jubilee Market locality at Kazipet, in a tweet tagging IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao and Commissioner of Police V Ravinder on Monday, said they were unable to get food due to lockdown. Responding to this, CP asked the Kazipet Inspector Ravula Narender and SI I Ashok Kumar to see that the family of Neelima gets the supplies immediately.

Following this, the police went to Neelima’s house and handed over rice, and other essentials that would last for one week. The family members of Neelima have thanked the Warangal CP for providing the essential commodities. Father of Neelima, Narsing is a mentally unstable person and her mother Shantha looks after him. They have no white ration card, according to Neelima, who completed degree and searching for a job.
