Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Two migrants who returned from Mumbai tested positive for Covid-19 in Kaghaznagar of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on Sunday night. They were shifted to Gandhi Hospital on Monday.
District Medical and Health Officer D Kumram Balu said that a man and his wife who returned from Mumbai contracted the acute respiratory disease. They were in an isolation centre after coming back to Kaghaznagar.
Their blood samples were sent to Hyderabad and results were declared on Sunday. The district registered Covid-19 positive cases after a gap of nearly a month. With the latest two patients, it so far saw nine cases. It recorded seven cases of the novel coronavirus in the month of April.
All of them were discharged on May 13. Over 500 migrants returned to the district in the last three weeks.
