Sangareddy: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao and Health Minister C Lakshma Reddy inaugurated a new 150-bed Mother and Child Care Hospital on the premises of Government General Hospital in Sangareddy on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister has said that many patients and pregnant women were choosing to visit government hospitals over private hospitals following a slew of measures initiated by Telangana government to improve the health care in the government sector.
Since the introduction of KCR Kits on June 2, on the eve of Telangana Formation Day, the Minister has said that the number of pregnant women coming to government hospitals has multiplied across Telangana.
Health Minister C Lakshma Reddy has announced a dialysis centre to Naryanakhed government Hospital. Following the request of local MLA Chintha Prabhakar, Harish Rao directed the police to set up an outpost on the premises of government hospital.
