If the reports from film industry are anything to go by, actor Trisha Krishnan will soon be paired opposite actor Chiranjeevi in the upcoming untitled film. The actor is busy with promotions of his magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which is set to hit screens worldwide on October 2. The story is inspired by true events of freedom fighter from Rayalaseema. Following the Sye Raa’s release, Chiranjeevi will soon be seen in a different avatar in his next movie directed Koratala Siva. The whole unit including the crew has been finalised and the movie will go on floors after the puja ceremony.
However, there seems to be no clarity about the female lead. Initially, the makers decided to rope in Nayanthara and later names like Shruti Haasan, Tamannaah have surfaced in the media. Now, Trisha has also joined the list of the probable leading ladies for the project. The movie will be bankrolled jointly by Konidela Productions and Matnee Entertainments.
Trisha had shared screen space with Chiranjeevi 13 years ago in the movie Stalin in 2006. Fans are hopeful to see their stars Trisha and Chiranjeevi once again on big screen after 13 long years. Bollywood music composer duo Ajay-Atul will be rendering the music for the movie.
Trisha’s last Telugu movie was Nayaki which was directed by Goverdhan Reddy in 2016. She has a few film projects in Tamil – Garjanai, Sathuranga Vettai 2, Paramapadham Vilayattu, Raangi and Sugar. Trisha recently had an interaction with mystic and founder Isha Foundation Sadhguru. Taking to her Instagram account she wrote, “And then this happened. The most fun tete a tete with #Sadhguru. Divinity in its finest form. Bucketlisting … Thank you @isha.foundation @sadhguru for the invite.”
