Hyderabad: Sky Zone, the chain of 300 indoor family entertainment centres across the world in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and the UK comes to Hyderabad, according to Ram Talluri, Managing Director, R4 Enterprises, its local franchisee.
R4 Enterprises, which bagged the franchisee rights for south India, plans to open Asia’s second Trampoline Park at Gandipet in July. It is also one of the largest trampolines among the 300 plus Sky Zone Trampoline Parks across the world.
It is being set up in 2.5 acres land in 30,000 sft area with an investment of Rs 20 crore. It also plans to open another park at Sharath Mall in Kothaguda Junction by the end of this year. And will invest Rs 35 crore in setting up these both trampoline parks in the city.
R4 also chalked out to set up four Trampoline parks in Chennai, Bangalore, Cochin and Visakhapatnam by the end of this year. And will set up 50 to 60 parks in entire south India in 5 years, added Talluri. Each Trampoline Park provides employment to 200 people, said a statement.
Trampoline tables exist in India but not as big as the one that is coming up in the city.
A trampoline is a device consisting of a piece of taut, strong fabric stretched over a steel frame using many coiled springs. People bounce on trampolines for recreational and competitive purposes. The fabric that users bounce on is not elastic itself; the elasticity is provided by the springs that connect it to the frame, which store potential energy.
The Indoor Trampoline Park consists of a cluster of interconnected Trampolines.
Some of the attractions include freestyle jump; sky slam; ultimate dodgeball, foam zone, etc. There will be many games like basket ball, free jump area. Volleyball, foam pit, rock climbing, rope walking and trampoline fitness gym.
