Three held in Hyderabad on charges of forgery

Hyderabad: The Central Crime Station sleuths on Saturday arrested three men on charges of presenting fake and forged documents to divert funds from Iqra High School, Asifnagar.

According to police, Pathan Mazharulla, Shaik Abdul Rowph, and Pathan Samleeulla had in 2009 colluded and presented a fake and forged government body resolution, dated June 22, 2009, containing the signatures of P Khaja Shafee, proprietor of Iqra High School.

The three suspects had created a current account in the name of Iqra High School with Indian Overseas Bank, Gudimalkapur, using the fake and forged documents. They then misappropriated Iqra High School funds, and caused losses to Iqra Educational Society, police said.
