The longer your kurta, the better it is

Anushka Sharma’s wardrobe in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Sonakshi Sinha’s in Noor have given us all major fashion goals. Be it the ankle-length kurtas with jeans and jackets worn by Anushka or the loose-midi dresses flaunted by Sonakshi. Keeping in mind the weather, anything that’s not short is in vogue this season. So, here’s how you can lift your fashion quotient.

A wardrobe essential, get the boho look with fall shift maxi and midi dresses. Go for something bold — like with multi-coloured patch works — and pair it with sneakers or gladiators. A straw bag or a simple tote bag will go well with the attire.

Kurta with jeans

Mixing up clothes is bound to give a unique look. Taking inspiration from Anuskha’s look, pair your ankle-length kurta with your jeans. “To complete the look, go for accessories like tribal or antique style earrings, necklace or bracelets,” says Shravani Mittapalli, a freelance stylist. Be mindful about the colour of your kurta, to break the gloomy weather go for something that’s bright and with prints.

Floral star

Floral prints will never go out of style as they are vintage, bold and fun. Flaunting a loose flowy floral-printed dress is just the best way to break through any dull day. Do not miss out on your accessories and pair them with your nude mules or an ankle-length boots.

Midi and loose

One of the trending street wear options this season is the solid coloured, loose-fit midi dress. “Beaded jewellery with any colour possible would look chic,” says Shravani. Completing it with a scarf and a tote bag with your white converse sneakers is sure to give you that statement look.
