Telangana: Isolation facilities at all TVVP hospitals in districts 


Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender on Thursday directed healthcare institutions under the Telangana Vaidya Vidhan Parishad (TVVP) to start isolation facilities for Covid-19 positive cases in the State. The Minister urged the district and area hospitals under TVVP to give their best to prevent Covid-19 related fatalities.

Rajender, while interacting with superintendents and other senior healthcare workers from hospitals under the jurisdiction of TVVP in the districts, made it clear that the State government is open to recruit additional sanitation staff, patient care providers, lab assistants and nursing staff for TVVP hospitals in the State, which will strengthen the Covid-19 response. The TVVP affiliated hospitals have been directed to send proposals to recruit such staff at the earliest. All the TVVP hospitals with Covid-19 treatment facilities will receive oxygen cylinders from Hyderabad.

Director of Medical Education Dr. K Ramesh Reddy who is also in-charge Commissioner, TVVP, Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) Vice-Chancellor Dr. B. Karunakar Reddy and other senior officials were present.
