Hyderabad: Telangana has emerged as one of the fastest growing State exceeding the national growth rate and that is because of the proactive and thoughtful leadership, said Dr Gaddam Ranjith Reddy, Member of Parliament. Speaking at the annual meeting and conference on T-SET for Growth organised by CII Telangana, the MP mentioned mentioned that Telangana has become as one of the best states in terms of technology & innovation in a short span of 6 years of its formation.
“The initiatives of government such as T-Hub, which produced hundreds of entrepreneurs, and also TASK, which trained and skilled lakhs of people are bringing laurels to the State. The State is adapting and imbibing latest technologies and binging policies to support them such as drones policy and blockchain district and even announced this year as year of AI among other things,” said Reddy.
E V Narasimha Reddy, vice-chairman & managing director, Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd, said that both government and CII are working closely on few key policy initiatives to make industry more vibrant. “Telangana has become a very progressive state in terms of innovation housing not less than 25 innovation centres in Hyderabad. RICH is another initiative of government, connecting all of those innovation centres and institutions,” he added.
D Raju, Chairman, CII Telangana and MD & CEO, Kirby Building Systems & Structures Pvt Ltd., said that is working closely with the Government, Industry and Institutions to encourage sustainable and inclusive growth in the State. The conference was attended by over 250 participants from industry and academia.
