Hyderabad: The Formation of Telangana was celebrated with gaiety and fervour at Dr MCR HRD Institute of Telangana on Sunday.
The entire campus was enveloped in a celebratory mood with officers, faculty, staff, and trainee Group-I Officers, officials of Central Secretariat Services and Ministerial staff of the Police Department participating in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Government Advisor AK Goel said Telangana State had succeeded in achieving commanding heights both in development and welfare.
Stating that the dream of ‘Golden Telangana’ cannot be achieved by the government alone, he wanted participation of public with high levels of competence and commitment.
Special Chief Secretary and Director General of MCRHRD Institute BP Acharya underlined the importance of inclusive economic development in a manner that its fruits reach weaker sections of society in ample measure.
He advised the officers to process the files with a human touch using their head and heart, considering the fact that behind every file, there are people and their aspirations.
On the occasion, the trainee Group-I officers presented a feature-rich cultural programme and showcased their talents in singing and dancing. The artistes from Department of Culture also presented numerous performances drawing a huge applause.
MCRHRD Institute Additional DG B Venkateswara Rao, Director (training) SM Nabi, and other officials were present.
