Telangana Covid Call Centre serving 500 people per day


Hyderabad: Telangana government which has been leaving no stone unturned to contain the spread of the Covid pandemic, by educating people has launched a toll-free call centre to enlighten public and also to clear the doubts of the general public, patients and the helpers of the patients on the precautions to be taken.

The department of health in a statement here on Friday said the call centre offers counseling to the people who are home quarantined. At present specialists through the call centre are following up home quarantine cases by providing necessary advice for over 17 days. The experts are providing consultation to patients even with mild symptoms. The call center with over 200 employees working in two shifts is offering services to over 10,000 people who are under home quarantine. The advice includes precautions to be taken, a balanced diet and their day to the health condition.

Besides, the call centre with number 18005994455 is offering service to 500 people through telemedicine facility every single day. The call centre also helps those who are in acute medical condition by informing the same to 108 for better acute medical service. The call centre also helps the general public by clearing their doubts and receives their advice.
