Telangana COVID-19 cases
The areas under GHMC, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy districts together have reported over 2,500 cases in the last 24-hours.
The number of active cases in Telangana has gone-up to 58,148 with 40,729 positive patients in home isolation or institutional Covid care centres.
For the first time ever, the number of positive infections has also crossed the 1000 mark in areas under GHMC.
The cumulative number of active cases has reached 49,781 while the total number of fatalities is now 1,899.
The areas under GHMC reported 898 new cases by Tuesday evening while on Monday the number of new cases was 793.
Areas under GHMC have reported 705 new cases while the neighbouring district of Medchal Malkajgiri reported 363 cases.
As on Saturday, the total number of active Covid-19 cases in Telangana has reached 20,184.
The active Covid-19 cases have continued to rise, with the cumulative total rising to 17,791 positive cases.
He asked the Police Commissioners and SPs to ensure that everyone wears face masks and maintains physical distance.
The daily Covid-19 infections in areas under GHMC have crossed the 400 mark with authorities reporting 402 new infections on Thursday.
A total of 2,76,906 individuals, including all categories of beneficiaries, have completed their first and second dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
The number of Covid-19 infections in areas under GHMC has now shot-up to 398 while Medchal-Malkajgiri district has reported 214 fresh Covid-19 infections.
A total of 285 persons have recovered on Tuesday, taking the total recoveries in the State to 3,03,298 with a recovery rate of 95.78 percent.
So far, the total number of positive cases in Telangana since the pandemic is 3,14,735 while as on Sunday, the number of active cases has shot-up to 9,993 across the State.
The recovery rate in the state was 98.14 per cent, while it was 95.1 per cent in the country.
A total of 157 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,99,427 with a recovery rate of 98.24 per cent.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation continued to report the highest number of cases with 111 followed by Medchal Malkajgiri (37) and Ranga Reddy district (31).
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation reported the maximum of 103 cases followed by Nirmal 32, Medchal Malkajgiri 31 and Ranga Reddy district 27.
A total of 111 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,98,120 with a recovery rate of 98.69 per cent.
