The minister inaugurated maize procurement centres at different places in Chintakani, Konijerla, and Raghunathapalem mandals in the district on Wednesday.

"In a bid to ensure Minimum Support Price (MSP) to the farmers’ produce, the government has allocated Rs 13,000 crore for paddy procurement for this Kharif season,” he said.
The Minister was speaking after inaugurating paddy procurement centres in Nagunoor, Cherlabuthkur, Kondapur, Bahadurkhanpet and Elabotharam.
Apart from native Hindi and Urdu speakers, people who speak Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, Kannada, Punjabi, Gujarathi, Bengali and various other languages have made Telangana their home for years.
