Kathua Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shalinder Mishra confirmed this information.
The officials said cross-border firing between the two sides continued till 4.15 am on Sunday, and added that there was no report of any casualty or damage on the Indian side.
The firing from across the border in Satpal, Manyari, Karol Krishna and Gurnam border outpost areas started around 9 pm on Saturday.
The Pakistani troops targeted several BoPs and few hamlets in Manyari, Sapwal and Karol Krishna on late Wednesday night, prompting an effective retaliation by the BSF.
At about 5:10 am, the Pakistan spy drone was spotted in the area of responsibility (AoR) of BoP Pansar, Hiranagar of the BSF, as per initial reports.
The shelling ended around 5 am, the officials said, adding that the casualties suffered by Pakistan was not known immediately.
A police official said the locals immediately launched a rescue operation and retrieved the three family members from the debris and rushed them to hospital.
The family of Nirbhaya said the Telangana police had set an example and urged authorities not to punish the policemen responsible for the action.
Father of the victim said, that they deserved death for what they have done and their end would at least relieve the veterinarian's family of the ordeal of the courts and lurking threat of the acquittal of the accused
The incident has caused panic among local residents who took to the streets on Tuesday morning along with the victim's body.
The new map surprisingly includes three districts -- Muzaffarabad, Punch and Mirpur -- which are under Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The unprovoked firing started on Saturday night and ended at 5:30 am on Sunday.
"We have to recruit around 70 SPOs. The last date for applying for these posts is October 22. Employment is a big pull factor and there are a lot of prospective candidates."
The arms and ammunition recovered included four AK-56 rifles, two AK-47 rifles, six magazines and 180 rounds of ammunition, besides a cash of Rs 11,000, the SSP said.
He will also visit the Jammu region and dedicate to the nation two bridges, built by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) at Ujh in Kathua and Basantar in Samba.
The girl was allegedly repeatedly assaulted before being killed at a village in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district in January.
"This kind of exploitation of the poor, labourers, common people and women under the central government has never been seen before...their 'chori aur seena jori' has also been unheard of in the past," the BSP chief said.
Wednesday is the 9th day of continuous firing and shelling by Pakistan Rangers along the IB and LoC in Jammu, Kathua and Samba districts.
