The flyers have been identified as Dauslab and Lakshmi hailing from Raichur in Karnataka.
Based on profiling of passengers, the CISF staff intercepted a passenger, Md Ahmed Ali Baig, who was about to board a flight to Dubai, and found currencies of UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia. Baig, along with the seized currency, was handed over to Customs officials.
"The man had a valid license. But carrying of weapons and ammunition in the airports and aircraft is banned under law," the official said.
