Hyderabad: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers, 18 weekly tatkal special trains will be operated between Yesvantpur and Visakhapatnam, according to a South Central Railway release.
Accordingly, Train No. 06579 Yesvantpur – Visakhapatnam Weekly Tatkal special train will depart Yesvantpur at 6:35 pm on Fridays from August 4, 11, 18 and 25, September 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and reach Visakhapatnam at 2:35 pm the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 06580 Visakhapatnam – Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal special train will depart Visakhapatnam at 1:45 pm on Sundays from August 6, 13, 20 and 27, September 3, 10, 17 and 24, and October 1, and reach Yesvantpur at 9:05 am the next day.
Enroute, these tatkal special trains will stop at Banasavadi, Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Bangarpet, Kuppam, Jollarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalle and Duvvada stations in both directions.
The special trains will consist of 13 coaches viz., one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van coaches, the release said.
