Hyderabad: A week-long special cleanliness drive, Swacchata Saptah, is being observed by the South Central Railway (SCR). On Secunderabad Division, extensive cleanliness activity has been taken up at railway stations, premises and colonies at Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Warangal, Kazipet, Vikarabad, Ramagundam, Macherla, Tandur and Sedam.
At Hyderabad railway station, Lions Club International members joined railway officials and staff in observing cleanliness drive and a tree plantation was also taken up, a press release said.
According to officials, emphasis was laid on through cleaning of special trains, and 100 per cent cleanliness has been ensured during their departure.
