SC Corporation provides training to youths from weaker sections


Kamareddy: A large number of youths belonging to weaker sections participated in the smart skills development programme conducted by SC Corporation here.

Training was provided in soft skills, body language, English language development and other areas, in which representatives of 11 different organisations like National Construction Corporation, NITHIM, Apollo Institute, National Small Industries Organisation participated.

Jukkal MLA Hanumanthu Shinde, MLC Rajeshwar Rao, SC Corporation chairman Dr. N. Satyanarayana, Corporation MD Lachiram Naik, Kamareddy Collector Dr. N. Satyanarayana participated in the programme at NR Garden here.

Aside from soft skills, the SC Corporation provided job-oriented training to the unemployed youths for jobs in restaurants, beauty parlours, hotel management and other occupations to obtain jobs in various organisations.

Jukkal MLA Hanumanthu Shinde, SC Corporation chairman Dr N Satyanarayana, inaugurated the programme. Jukkal MLA Hanumanthu Shinde said that SC youth should utilize the training programme and develop soft skills to compete in the competitive job market, and work with dedication and achieve their goals.

SC Corporation MD Lachiram Naik said that the SC Corporation had provided training to 128 unemployed engineers through NAC after which they got jobs in various organisations. Training was also provided to 62 youths in Karvy after which they obtained jobs in Reliance, Navata and other organisations, he said, adding that some of them had even become team leaders.
