Sack Arjun Yadav, bring back Rayudu: SATS chairman

Hyderabad: Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) chairman A Venkateshwar Reddy demanded the immediate removal of Hyderabad Ranji team coach Arjun Yadav and instead appoint an experienced coach following their back to back defeats in the ongoing Ranji Trophy campaign.

The chairman said the reason for Hyderabad’s poor show is the presence of inexperienced cricketers coupled with the inexperienced coach. He urged Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) to bring back Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu into the side after the cricketer made himself unavailable for the tournament and accused the HCA of rampant corruption in a Tweet.

Venkateshwar Reddy requested TRS working president KT Rama Rao to discuss the teams’ show with HCA president Mohd Azharuddin and take necessary steps to facilitate the return of Rayudu who resigned from captaincy after the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Tournament.
