With the shooting of the Megastar Chiranjeevi’s historic flick Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy making no headway, a gossip out of a rumour mill is doing rounds — a massive set of Bidar Fort was erected at Ram Charan’s farm near Kokapet on the outskirts of the city to shoot the missed sequence.
It may be recalled that the shooting of the movie was abruptly called off after a clash erupted between the local Muslims in Bidar town and the film’s crew over the scene being shot with idols of Hindu deities placed at Solah Khambha Mosque, which is also known as 16 pillars mosque.
With the intervention of the police, the mob was pacified, thus avoiding any untoward incident at the location.
According to a source close to the project, the news touted as ‘latest development on the shooting’ turned out to be a rumour. Ram Charan, who is producing the movie under his home banner Konidela Productions, is currently in the national capital as part of his new project RRR.
As far as Sye Raa is concerned, visual effects part is expected to be completed by June end.
