Robbers’ gang, including boy, busted in Hyderabad


Hyderabad: The Central Zone Task Force and Ramgopalpet police busted a three-member gang, including a boy, in connection with a robbery case, and recovered cash, mobile phones and a bike from them on Friday.

They were Mohammed Amer (20), a watchman at Telangana Secretariat; B Nikhil (18), an electrician; and a 14-year-old boy.

According to the police, the night patrolling party of the Ramgopalpet police found a pedestrian, Y Thimmappa (22), working as a roomboy at Necklace View Hotel, who was looted by the gang early on Friday. They attacked him with a brick and took away his cash and mobile phone.

“Immediately, the police constables chased and caught them. The booty was seized from them intact. While the injured person was shifted to the hospital, the suspects were shifted to the police station,” police said.
