Paintings portray desires of Indian women

An MBA graduate by profession and an artist by passion, artist Rangoli Garg immerses herself in the world of art and colours. Her paintings depict the hidden side of Indian women, and portray ashy and attractive Indian girl with hope filled-eyes who dreams of a world beyond her present existence.

Her paintings often have a feminine touch as she artistically captures the various moods and feelings of women on her canvas along with fragmented alphabets, musical instruments and blooming flowers.

Rangoli got her first break in 2012, when she participated in a charity group show at Muse Gallery in the city. After that there was no turning back. Her works have since been showcased at the Dubai World Trade Centre, solo exhibitions in Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai besides numerous group shows both at the national and international level. The artist specialises in semi-abstract style of art and uses vibrant, natural colours that make her paintings look bright.
