Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi has asked people to get themselves tested for Covid-19 at camps organised by the State government in the old city.
Owaisi on Saturday took a Covid-19 test RTPCR test at Government Nizamia Tibbi Hospital at Charminar and an antigen test at the Urban Primary Health Post at Amannagar. He tested negative.
“I request all people with symptoms of Covid-19 to come out and take the test. It is for the good of you and your family. There is no need to hesitate or feel shy. Please come and get it done at the nearest testing centre,” he appealed to the people.
The MP tweeted about him getting tested at the Government Unani Hospital. “Got my antigen & RTPCR tests done for Covid-19 today. My antigen test results were negative. Alhamdullilah,” he tweeted, adding that there were about 30 centres in the south of Hyderabad where antigen testing was being conducted.
