Siddipet: Collector P Venkatarami Reddy instructed officials to fast-track the construction works of the Medical College building here on Tuesday.
During his visit to the site of the construction at Ensanpally village near Siddipet town, the Collector instructed Joint Collector M Padmakar to complete the process of payment of compensation to the land owners at the earliest. The district administration had acquired 25 acres and 15 guntas of land from farmers of Ensanpally to raise the college building. The college will start functioning from the academic year 2018-19.
Later, the Collector also inspected two acres of land identified for the construction of a three-star hotel by Telangana Tourism Development Corporation near Nancharupally-Nagulabanda villages of Siddipet rural mandal. After inspecting the 6 acres and 20 guntas of government land located on the outskirts of Duddeda, the Collector instructed the revenue officials to plant a signboard after demarcating the boundary lines. RDO Muthyam Reddy, tehsildar Parameshwar and others were present.
