No shortage of Covid beds in Kamareddy, says Collector


Nizamabad: District Collector Dr Sharath on Saturday said sufficient numbers of beds are available for Covid patients in Kamareddy district.

He was speaking after inspecting Covid wards and ICU wards at Kamareddy district hospital. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector appealed to people to follow Covid norms. The Collector asked the officials concerned to conduct tests to all those who are having symptoms.

The Collector said that there is no need to worry about beds as the Kamareddy district hospital has 30 oxygen beds and 90 ICU beds. Kamareddy DMHO Dr. Chandrashekhar, Covid prevention co-ordinator Dr Srikanth, Kamareddy RDO Srinu were also present on the occasion.
