Nalgonda: The Superintendent of Police A V Ranganath on Tuesday said that the police would strive to create awareness among people on COVID-19 precautionary measures in view of community spread of the virus.
Speaking at a meeting held with the police personnel, who were recovered from COVID-19, Ranganath said that the police personnel and people should be careful in the next two months as the virus has reached community spread level. “We can minimize the effect by creating awareness in the public on precautionary measures to get rid of COVID-19. It was the high time that entire society should be united to face the pandemic time:”, he added.
He said that those who developed symptoms of COVID-19 should immediately consult the doctors for treatment. Stating that people who got infected with coronavirus need not panic, he suggested the COVID positive patients should be careful from fifth to 12th day after developing symptoms. Asymptomatic patients should be in home quarantine for 14 days and consume food, which would boost immunity.
He said that police would work in coordination with surpanches of the villages to create awareness in the rural people on precautionary measures.

Superintendent of DPO Rahaman said that he has recovered from COVID-19 with home quarantine and no need to panic after infecting the virus. Circle Inspector (Traffic) Anil Kumar , who recovered from corona, said that Corona positive patients should not lose self-confidence and that would only help the battle. He has practiced Yoga and physical exercise during the days of his home quarantine. Doctors also talked over phone and made several suggestions to recover from the COVID-19.
