Corrective measures have been taken up at the identified accidents-prone areas to avoid road mishaps. Speed Guns were being used to identify over speeding vehicles on the National Highway and others roads that would help in averting accidents, he said.

Those who have more than three challans pending, will have their vehicles seized which can be released from the police after paying the total pending chalan amount at e-seva or Mee Seva, he added.
