‘Karn Sangini’ takes Karna’s perspective

Karn Sangini

In India, mythology is genre that is ever green. It doesn’t matter if we already know the story; we’re still interested in watching it all over again. Star Plus is coming up with one such tale, but with a small twist. We’ll now get to witness the age old epic of Mahabharata from Karna’s point of view.

The show is titled Karn Sangini which is the story of a princess who rejected Arjun and chose his arch enemy, Karna instead. Actors Tejaswi Prakash, Aashim Gulati and Kinshuk Vaidya will be seen playing the characters of Princess Urvi, Karn and Arjun respectively. Produced under the banner of Sashi Summet Productions, the show is likely to go air from October 1.

The channel took to their Instagram handle to share the first promo with the caption, “Kaun hai woh Rajkumari jisne Arjun ke badle uske shatru ko chuna aur bani #KarnSangini?” (Who was the princess who, instead of Arjun, chose his enemy and became KarnSangini?)
