Nirmal: Minister for Forests and Environment A Indrakaran Reddy on Sunday urged the public to keep their premises clean to prevent spread of seasonal diseases. The Minister was speaking after cleaning the surroundings and spraying anti-larval chemicals at his residence here.

Indrakaran said that civilians must keep their environs tidy to keep seasonal diseases at bay. He wanted public representatives to create awareness among the public. He opined that sparing 10 minutes of time on Sunday could control the spread of malaria, dengue fevers and other viral fevers during the monsoon. Mosquito population can be eradicated with the help of cleanliness, he added.

The Minister sought the public to practice physical distancing to curtail the spread of novel coronavirus. He requested them to step outside only when required. He advised the citizens to wear face masks and to wash hands thoroughly and use sanitizers when entering new premises and returning home from outside.

Telangana State Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Limited (TSDDCFL) Chairman Loka Bhuma Reddy, TRS party State general secretary Satyanarayana Goud and Nirmal ZPTC member Jeevan Reddy and the party leader Muthyam Reddy were present.
