Rangasthalam has been in the news especially for its sets and the amazing production work done by art directors Ramakrishna and Monika. As the film is releasing today, the unit has organised a pre-release press meet yesterday at the sets which were erected at Bhoot Bungalow, Jubilee Hills. The main aim of this press meet was to thank the media for their support and also to take them on a small tour throughout the sets.
Producers of Mythri Makers Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri were also present along with director Sukumar, actors Naresh, Anasuya Bharadwaj and others.
Producers said that they were very happy about the film releasing in 1,700 theatres all over India and overseas. They also thanked Ram Charan for being a part of the film.
Sukumar, the director of many feel-good movies like Rangasthalam is overwhelmed with the feedback he is already receiving from fans all over.
“First of all, thanks to the media for supporting the film. We wanted all of you to see the sets and before they are dismantled, we thought of inviting you all here. Ramakrishna and Monika have created such sets which looked real, like those days of the ’80s. I am tensed up about the release and waiting for a word from the audience. I thank the producers for encouraging me to have a huge star cast to make this film a best one,” said the director.
