Hyderabad: The city police on Friday reached the residence of former TV9 CEO V Ravi Prakash in Banjara Hills to examine the documents of three cars belonging to Associated Broadcasting Company Private Limited (ABCPL).
Prakash did not surrender the vehicles to the management in despite being removed from the post of CEO last month. “Based on a complaint lodged by ABCPL director P Kaushik Rao, we booked a case against Prakash and went to his house to examine the vehicle documents,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) AR Srinivas said.
He said as of now, the vehicles were not seized, but, as per norms, Prakash was supposed to surrender these to the company after his removal. The Cyberabad cybercrime police and the Banjara Hills police earlier booked separate cases against Prakash, actor S Shivaji and others on charges of cheating and forgery.
