Hyderabad: Mobile sales force automation company WINIT on Tuesday announced expanding its footprint in Africa by signing up with OLAM, one of the largest FMCG company in Africa.
The company will provide mSFA in three African countries – Nigeria, Ghana and Mozambique – to begin with and the solution will help automate sales operations covering pre-sales and van sales. The solution currently enables 550 users in the three markets. As part of the global tie-up, the footprint will extend to other countries in Africa as well.
The Hyderabad-based company has 50 plus customers across 11 countries having close to 20,000 plus users on the platform across diverse industries in India and overseas. It has been helping companies to increase sales and improve efficiency of sales people in domains like FMCG, Food and Beverages, Dairy products, Retail Chains, Pharma, Telecom to name a few.
Commenting on Africa expansion, Sathish Kannan, executive vice-president (operations), WINIT said, “We have successfully entered one of the largest consumer markets with OLAM. We are closely working with OLAM to drive some of the key sales and distribution objectives to help achieve the desired ROI.”
