Hyderabad: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) opened a FTCCI business facilitation centre at GMR Air Cargo Complex at Shamshabad.
It was inaugurated by JS Chandrashekar, Principal Commissioner of Customs, Hyderabad Customs Commissionerate. Saurabh Kumar, CEO, GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo and Logistics Private Limited and Ramakanth Inani, President, FTCCI were also present.
The new center at the airport premises provides for hassle free facility for exporters, improving ease of doing business further. It acts as a catalyst for increasing exports from the State in leaps and bounds, apart from earnings of precious foreign exchange.
Ramakanth Inani, President, said “After 103 years, this is the first-ever ‘Business Facilitation Centre’ outside FTCCI Office, aimed to assist trade & industry by issuing Certificate of Origin & export document attestation, visa recommendation and foreign travel reference services and place of shipment at the airport itself.
Saurabh Kumar, CEO-GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo said it has created a concept of Cargo Village to bring-in all related air cargo service providers, authorities and trade in a single location for easy access and quick turn-around time.
