Hyderabad: Former MP K Kavitha spoke with Suharsha and her family members of Mancherial on Saturday and wished her for securing admission into prestigious Auburn university in Alabama of USA. Suharsha is the second girl student from the Mulugu based Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI) to secure admission in the USA.
“Students like Suharsha make us proud. Congratulated her for receiving fee waiver and scholarship at Auburn University. May she achieve all her goals. Feels so nostalgic, remembered my university days in the US, after our chat,” the former MP tweeted after talking to Suharsha on a video call. While talking to her she assured Suharsha all possible help.
Kavitha also recalled her student days at Mississippi university which is close to Alabama. “I earned a stipend of $500 per month from the university while pursuing my MS degree there,” she said. Thanking Kavitha, Suharsha said that she tried to speak to the former MP while she was touring the Singareni collieries area. “Now I am on cloud nine as she herself has called me and congratulated me” Suharsha said.

Meanwhile, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) R Shobha clicked a selfie with Surya Deepika and Suharsha, two of the BSc Forestry students of FCRI who got admission into the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences, Auburn University, USA. She said first batch with 49 students are completing their Bsc forestry course from FCRI this year. “Chief Minister’s vision to produce national-level officers from forest college is going to be reality. Many students are going to attend civil services and MSc forestry courses in prestigious national and international institutions,” she said.
