Hyderabad: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao reached out to over 189 people including those who tested positive for Covid -19 from here on Sunday and instilled confidence in them to fight the infection.
Dayakar Rao contacted the patients and their kin separately via tele-conference covering the patients from Palakurthi, Kodakandla, Devaruppula, Pedda Vangara, Torrur and Rayaparthi mandals in his constituency Palakurthi.
“How are you, how is your health, are you receiving the proper medical aid? There is nothing to fear about coronavirus as you can fight it and win, except for very few,” the Minister told them.
He assured them that all the government hospitals are fully equipped with facilities to treat Covid effectively and one does not need to opt for private hospitals. “With the foresight of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and Minister KT Rama Rao, the government hospitals have received all medical equipment. In case of any problem, you can call or my staff, they will see that the help reaches you in no time,” he assured them.
He further said that the intensity of corona has come down in the State and the efforts of the State government have started yielding good results. “But on your part, wear masks and maintain physical distance. If infected, don’t panic. The government is with you. All required facilities are kept ready at MGM Hospital and also in all Primary Health Centres (PHC),” Dayakar Rao said.
He advised them to take nutritious food and said that he would request the medical officers to conduct tests once again after the completion of home quarantine.
