Culture camp held at Hare Krishna Movement in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Close to 200 children from various parts of the city participated in a Culture Camp, organised by city-based Hare Krishna Movement (HKM) to raise awareness on social responsibility among children through traditional games. 

The camp also featured an industrial tour in which students visited Akshaya Patra kitchen at Patancheru, where food is prepared to feed one lakh children every day. 

As part of the tour, the children also visited Ananthagiri Hills, Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swami temple and Gosaala. The HKM officials said that to make the culture camp even more special for children, healthy, tasty and nutritious food was provided.

The president of HKM, Telangana, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa said that such camps help all round development of children. Special blessings, books, gifts were presented to the students on the last day of summer camp.
