CREDAI property expo begins in Visakhapatnam


Visakhapatnam: The 6th Edition of the CREDAI-Visakhapatnam Property Expo, aimed at bringing all stakeholders of realty sector under one roof and enable potential customers to choose their dream house from among the umpteen varieties would be held at the iconic Gadiraju Palace and Convention Centre on the beach road in M.V.P. Colony, from December 20 to 22.

Informing this to reporters here on Saturday, CREDAI local chapter president B. Srinivasa Rao said there would be 108 stalls displaying umpteen varieties of flats, plots, villas, luxury apartments, gated complexes would be available for customers to select a unit which would suit their budget. Customer would have an opportunity to compare various options and come to a final decision. The customers would get value for their money, he said, adding that there would incentives and discounts on the spot transactions at the Expo.

This year’s sponsors included major public and private sector banks and other financial institutions and industries like Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The Expo would help customers to take correct decision to invest their life time savings, he said. With a view to educating visitors on the need for conservation of water through harvesting pits, special initiative would be taken.

Students from civil engineering and managements schools would be invited, he disclosed.

Expo Convener E. Ashok Kumar said that the CREDAI-Visakhapatnam Expo would be the biggest one in Visakhapatnam and special platforms are planned for exhibition of construction materials. This is the 6th Edition of the Expo and the increasing footfalls is an indication of its increasing popularity. He said that the footfalls at the last Expo was about 40,000 and this year the expected footfalls is 60,000. The business transactions are expected to increase from Rs.100 crore at the last year’s Expo to around Rs.130 crore this year , he said.
