Nalgonda: The Nalgonda Town-I police on Saturday filed a case against an RMP doctor under the sections of medical negligence. A fourth class student Govardhanam Srilekhya (10), who was suffering from fever, died on Saturday morning after taking treatment from an RMP doctor Saidulu. She was a student of St Alphonsus School in Nalgonda town.
Father of the girl, G Sridhar, lodged a complaint with Nalgonda Town-I police station. “RMP doctor was treating my daughter for fever for the last two days and his negligence in extending medical services that led to her death,” said Sridhar. “My daughter’s heath deteriorated after the doctor gave injection which resulted in her death,” he added. Based on the complaint of his complaint, Nalgonda Town-I police registered a case and started investigation.
