Hyderabad: An official from the City Armed Reserve (CAR), Petlaburj has been admitted to Chest Hospital, Erragadda after testing positive for swine flu. The official, according to doctors, is in stable condition and is responding to medication.
According to district health officials, nearly nine police personnel from the CAR had reported sick with typical symptoms of H1N1. According to officials, out of the nine, one police officer has tested positive.
The district health surveillance teams have already visited CAR in Petlaburj to interact with the officials and spread awareness on the importance of taking basic precautionary measures against swine flu. The health officials also interacted with Additional CP, CAR, DS Chouhan over the precautionary measures needed to be taken against swine flu within the CAR campus.
