Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail authorities said there was no bomb threat to Metro services in the city.

Taking serious objection to news reports being telecast in a vernacular news channel over bomb threat at Ameerpet Metro Interchange, HMRL Managing Director NVS Reddy said a passenger had forgotten his bag and the same was returned to him.

There was no need to panic and security checks are being conducted regularly as part of the security measures put in place at the metro stations, he said.
