Hyderabad: Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Bhatti Vikramarka has directed TPCC spokespersons to study the promises and failures of the State government in detail so that those issues can be raised during the monsoon session of the State Legislature. The CLP leader met with the spokespersons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday.
The CLP leader said that issues such as Srisailam hydel power plant mishap, issues related with minorities and Dalits, two bed room houses, the new revenue bill, irrigation projects and the over-burdened infrastructure in Hyderabad must be studied in depth and material kept ready to assist legislators in questioning the government.
TPCC spokespersons B Ayodhya Reddy, Indira Shobhan, M Raji Reddy, Kalva Sujata, Sudhir Reddy, Sandhya Reddy, Asi Reddy and Nizamuddin were present.
Meanwhile, AICC member and TPCC official spokesperson G Niranjan sought a judicial inquiry into the circumstances that led to the demolition of the religious structures in the Secretariat premises.
“Construction of temple and mosques at the same location is not sufficient, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao cannot shirk away his responsibility and he should order a judicial inquiry into the circumstances that led to demolition and to identify the guilty,” he said in a statement.
